Some 2012 survivalists email us and ask what our plan is for the Paradigm Shift issues, how we plan to handle that, and how we see our role in this shift. Here are the answers to some of the more commonly asked questions we have received about our spiritual center and community.

We are fearless. How lucky we are to be living during this period of time! This is an exciting, historical moment in humanity's evolution, The Great Awakening.

Our belief is that this era is a quantum leap in humanity's evolution. Once this happens, this is going to be a whole different kind of reality. The future will not be without its challenges as humanity figures out a kinder, gentler way of governance, economics, and social connection. However, the time of greed running the planet is over.

We focus on anchoring love, joy, and peace in this reality. We are making the transition in a celebratory way. We are not in the energy of fear for our lives or running away from anything. Everything we are doing is out of practicality. We see a supply shortage coming, so practical steps are necessary, but we do not believe humanity is doomed to a terrible end.

As an old system dies, the birth of a new system is taking place. We have great respect for the goodness in humanity, and we expect humanity to triumph fully in its transition to love.

There are literally millions of possibilities and scenarios. We do not believe anything in particular is more likely than anything else to happen. The future is a moving target. As consciousness moves, the future changes.

The truth is that none of us know what will happen. This is a time of surrender and being at peace with whatever the future holds, while at the same it is our responsibility as individuals to give our input (through intention and living by example in a higher frequency) as to what we want in the world. It is up to us all to decide what our future holds and see that coming.

We embrace the philosophies of living in the present moment, living in the frequencies of love and joy, and being focused on our spiritual work of transformation and awakening. Being with spiritually focused people while living a balanced daily routine during this era of change, well, it is just a really good idea!

Nope! We don't think so! To be fair, we don't know what is going to happen any more than anyone else does; it's all speculation. However, something is building in the mass consciousness, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see an economic challenge is coming, if nothing else. We believe the coming challeges will be mostly man-made.

If it is an extinction level event (ELE), and they do happen, well, we're all on to the next plane of existence if that's the case. It's just a transition to another version of existence. There's nothing to be afraid of, right? We have all done it millions of times already. We do not think it is an ELE though. We plan to stay.

The New Earth is not a place, a split reality, or some kind of dimensional fantasy. It is a change in consciousness. That is what is happening. We are all a part of humanity bringing in the love, compassion and sanity that will someday soon be the way of the world. It may very well feel like a dimensional shift because consciousness itself will change, aware of far more than what we are normally aware of right now.

Gaia Sagrada is a peaceful place to stay out of the way of struggle as some people resist letting go of old ways of being. Here we will hardly notice the struggle in the world.

1. There is always food here all year, never freezes, no disease or dangerous bugs in the mountains, and it's well above the tidal wave zones. Food is plentiful, grows all year round, and it is always lush and green. There is plenty of water and the land is rich. To us, this is as close as you can get to the Garden of Eden! This elevation is still warm, everything grows here, and it never freezes, but at the same time it never gets hot and humid. The air is always fresh and clear.

2. There are no nuclear power plants in Ecuador or anywhere near Ecuador for that matter. There are only 5 nuclear power plants on the entire continent of South America, 2 in Brazil, 2 in Argentina and 1 in Chile. Also, radiation in the northern hemisphere will not cross the equator, at least not right away.

3. Indigenous people of South America are a newly recognized seat of wisdom in spiritual teaching. They are connected and close to the Earth, with direct experience rather than just hearing about it from a preacher or spiritual teacher. The shamans of South America have a legend called the Eagle and the Condor which says that when the North (Eagle: thinking, strategizing, technology) and the South (Condor: heart, compassion, connection to the Earth) come together, there will be peace and harmony for all. Many northerners moving to South America, Ecuador in particular, and they are bringing the Eagle energy with them, softening as they meet the Condor energy.

4. Everything is cheaper and we can pass the savings on to you! Even if prices doubled or even tripled, most of us can still afford to be here.

5. Why Cuenca? Cuenca is on solid land and isn't near volcanos. The fault line in Ecuador runs from Guayaquil toward Ibarra. Cuenca is somewhat left out of the earthquake loop. There are also no major volcanoes around Cuenca, unlike the northern part of Ecuador. We are far enough south of volcanos. Volcanos affect things lying to the east or the west, as weather patterns flow, not north or south. Cuenca is very far south of the nearest volcano and won't be affected.

We invite anyone who wants to store food or invest in that to do so, and in fact we encourage it. If you want to put some of your savings into it by paying ahead for your stay here, that would be a logical way to help the community plan ahead with larger food stores. We do not at this time have large food stores because we spent our money on building you a place to live!

If you are looking for an underground bunker, this is not the place. We have things like root cellars for storing food if lack of refrigeration becomes an issue, but nothing where people can literally live underground. If it gets that bad, we're outta here! What fun would living on a devastated planet be? We are not interested in trying to survive an extinction level event.

Unfortunately we cannot allow anyone to stay who is not paying their way, so make sure you come with what you need for the time you plan to stay. It does not matter how desperate someone is, or how much we love them, we cannot jeopardize the stability of the community. If the expenses of feeding and housing a person are not taken care of the community will suffer, no matter how much work exchange someone does. The community cannot carry the financial load of others.

We are here to MAKE a beautiful thing happen. We believe it is up to us to create what we want to see in the world. We focus on being here now, awake in the moment, and accepting whatever humanity chooses for its future, even though we are doing our part to put in our vote for a beautiful future.

A wonderful reality exists right here, right now, in the arena of consciousness that each of us is. If we consciously encourage a beautiful outcome, we are using our power to co-create. What is here now in our hearts, this is what gives the future it manifestation juice. The point of power to create the future we want is right here in this now moment, so make it joyful and let creation energy be attracted to that.

There are many terrifying ideas about the future, but what if we all gave that much attention to something beautiful instead? As co-creators, can we create something entirely different. We believe in the connection of consciousness to physical matter and reality, and physical reality responds to what consciousness puts out.

While it is important to know your environment and what is going on in the world, it is important not to indulge in the negative emotional content that this awareness brings up. Don't let your consciousness be hijacked into fear directives or ideas. Direct your consciousness into creating something wonderful instead. This is the power we all have, and once we exercise it, physical reality rearranges itself to reflect what the mass consciousness is projecting. It's a law of the universe that cannot be reversed. What consciousness projects, consciousness gets.

So use your power wisely! Let's give our energies and attention to something beautiful, and if nothing else, be awake and aware in this moment here and now. We do not believe the world and humanity are doomed. It is only the old ways of being that are doomed. It is time for those old ways to end now. This is the Great Awakening. How that manifests, we have yet to see.
